It will bring together businesses, NGOs and governments from around the world to approve a universal agreement on climate in order to prevent the disruption from climate change that we are all facing.
Veolia is committed to tackling climate change, working every day to decrease emissions and preserve and replenish natural resources. Our technical expertise creates innovative solutions which preserve water, waste and materials across the region.
In the lead up to COP 21, Veolia has chosen to raise awareness about the ability of its business lines to provide concrete solutions that not only help preserve the planet’s resources but also invent new ones.
Using a direct, optimistic and cheerful approach, the new multi-media campaign (posters, press and TV) is illustrated by the British artist duo Rude and features five iconic solutions reflecting Veolia's ability to offer low carbon solutions and position itself as a circular economy pioneer.

Let's partner on climate action. Now!
Under the slogan "Let's partner on climate action. Now!", CEOs from 43 leading international groups in 20 different sectors with operations in over 150 countries, jointly generating over $1.2 trillion dollars in revenue in 2014, launched a joint initiative to lay down the bases for a global and responsible agreement on the climate. They all signed an open letter to be sent to world leaders, inviting them to take hands-on decisions at the COP 21 climate conference. Veolia CEO, Antoine Frérot, acting on behalf of our Group, is one of the members of the call published and relayed in the Financial Times.
More info about this initiative can be found in the Press Release.
