Niamey, August 29, 2016: While it just ceelbrated its 15 years of experience, the SEEN chose to certify its overall management system, in order to validate the harmonization of its tools and methods.
During a ceremony held in the presence of Patrice Fonlladosa, Chairman of the Board of SEEN, Moussa Oumarou, Director of professional relations and employment relations Department (DIALOGUE) at the International Labour Office, Fréderic Goetz Vice President Health Safety Veolia and many stakeholders and representatives of local civil society, the SEEN celebrated the triple certification ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ILO-OSH 2001.
This triple certification, a first in Africa, is the fruit of many months of intense work and mobilization of all company employees who have worked together to achieve this ambitious goal.
The ISO 9001 certification defines the organizational requirements needed for the existence of a quality management system. With this certification, the SEEN has established a systematic approach to managing its processes to produce quality services that meet the expectations of its customers.
The ISO 14001 certification for its part, is a framework for companies such as SEEN to better control their environmental impacts.
Finally, the repository ILO-OSH 2001 is a health and safety management tool developed by the International Labour Office (ILO). It is the only international framework adopted in a tripartite framework: public authorities, employers and employees.
Patrice Fonlladosa, Chairman of the Board of SEEN, said "Obtaining this triple certification reflects the strategic vision and the company's commitment.
