A grand ceremony was organized in Tangier in honor of Amendis's 407 female employees on International Women's Day.
The day's event was marked by the presence of Charafat Afilal, Secretary of State in charge of Water, François De-Rochambeau, Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Morocco, and Marie Dorothée Riet-Hucheloup, AME Director of Communications and Marketing.
‘Dare to Dream’
Ms. Bouchra Baibanou, who was the first Moroccan and North African woman to climb Mount Everest was also present. She told her story and how, ‘with great perseverance, will, and determination’, she pursued her dream to climb the highest mountain in the world to the audience in a masterful and moving way. She stressed the ‘Dare to Dream’ aspect.
Several speeches were also made to remind the audience of the company's policy to promote gender diversity in its trades.
All of the company's female employees received gifts in recognition of their efforts, involvement, and contribution to developing the company.
In parallel, Redal organized, in the presence of its President, François De-Rochambeau, its CEO, Driss El Ouazzani, and members of its Management Committee, a ceremony in honor of all its female employees to pay tribute to them and thank them for their efforts and commitment.
This ceremony was marked by the presence of a prominent figure of Moroccan civil society, Aicha Ech-Chenna, President of Association Solidarité Féminine, who gave a talk on her devotion to civil society organizations to the audience.
Redal's guests were also invited to take the floor (Bouchra El Mansouri, Director of International Human Resources, Veolia Golf Countries, Karima Bernoussi, Information Systems Director and first woman appointed director at Redal, and Aicha Bachar, first woman recruited by the company in 1961) to share their experiences with all of Redal's female employees to encourage them to move forward, and to believe in their dreams and their ability to achieve them.
The General Management paid tribute to all these women by awarding them a trophy in recognition of their dedication and involvement in society.
